History

Upon the development of Bakelite in the early 20th century, the founding fathers of KISICO decided to produce bottle closures out of this new material. Soon thereafter many tin caps had been replaced by the innovative plastic closures. As many customers were settled in the Rhine-Main area, and strong customer relations was fundamental to the company’s philosophy from the very beginning, headquarters were transferred from Schleusingen (Thuringia) to Oestrich-Winkel.

The year 1947 marks the founding of the company KISICO in its present form. Since then our development has never deviated from the demands the industry places on state-of-the-art technology.

Over 60 years of experience in processing caps, sophisticated technology and future-oriented ideas distinguish KISICO as one of the notable German packaging suppliers.
